Rooney, a 25 year-old law student and man of letters, graduated from the University of Oklahoma Class of 2001, cum laude, and currently is studying for J.D. and M.B.A. degrees at Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco. In the fall of 2003, his first semester, Rooney made the dean’s list and won the CALI Award for Future Excellence in Tort Law. He is an active member of numerous organizations and clubs, including American Society of Composers and Producers, the American Bar Association Law Student Division, the Association for Sports and Entertainment Law, and the American Trial Lawyers Association. In his spare time, Rooney works out three times a week, plays chess, and produces digital music which he shares freely via the internet.
