Houston, Texas (PRWEB) January 29 2004 – Dr. Renate Bodden, N.D., of Wingspan Holistic Health in Houston, today announced plans to take her famous Wellness Retreats to a slightly more exotic beach than her customary Surfside. Beginning April 23, Renate will begin taking groups of 6 – 10 to the picturesque Riviera Maya town of Akumal, Mexico for 5 day 4 night and 9 day 8 night retreats. So far three dates are planned for April and May, with more to follow.
Dr. Bodden was drawn into the field of “alternative healing”, as so many people are, by a close encounter with Cancer. Teaching people to be healthy and live in health is her passion. As a talented yoga instructor, reiki master and naturopath, Renate’s Wellness Retreats incorporate 2 yoga classes, a meditation and a natural health lecture into every day. She gives participants not only a well-rounded “Feel Good” holiday, she sends people home with the tools to continually improve their health and well-being. This is NOT one of those yoga retreats for experienced yoga enthusiasts. Everyone from beginners to advanced yoga students is welcome, and will benefit from Renate’s patient but thorough guidance.
Accommodations for the Wingspan Wellness Retreats will be provided by Cristal Azul, http://www.mexico-beaches.net , which is located on Half Moon Bay in Akumal, Mexico. The beach is a short walk from the fully furnished self-catering condos. As a famed diving, snorkeling and sport fishing destination, Akumal offers magical swimming holes and jungle excursions for exploration during free time.
The price of the Retreats includes meals, maid service and round trip transport between Cancun Airport and Cristal Azul. Not included are: alcoholic beverages, gratuities, and admissions to outside venues or transportation for side trips. One evening meal will also be the responsibility of the guest.
